Markham Inter-Church Committee for Affordable Housing
“On behalf of 360°kids, I want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your continued partnership in helping to make safe, stable housing accessible to the many youth who have benefited from your support. As you know, 360°kids provides a range of supports for young people in York Region who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
We’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative impact that access to housing can have. For many of our clients, stable housing is the turning point—the foundation that allows them to begin healing, rebuilding, and moving toward long-term goals. It provides more than just a roof over their heads; it creates space for dignity, safety, and hope.
The young people that we are privileged to support usually find their way to us when facing complex barriers that can include familial conflict, abuse and oppression. Despite this, they are eager and driven to find their places in society, and be a part of positive change. Without access to housing youth do not have the opportunity to embark on the work necessary to repair relationships with their families, engage in mental health services or focus on education and employment.
The stability and safety provided by the units at the Tony Wong and Water Street Locations have given youth the time and space needed to work through their trauma, set goals and make plans for the future- a future that is built on stability and promise, something all youth deserve.
These outcomes are not possible without partners like you. Your contribution to making housing possible has played a direct role in improving lives and strengthening our community. We are deeply grateful for your commitment to this work.
Thank you for being part of the solution. We look forward to continuing this important work together.”
